Location: Torrance, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

Reports to: Sr. Director of Compensation
 
Description

  • Lead global compensation related projects including wage analysis, development and communication of policies and guidelines. Performance management and other related systems.
  • Administer established compensation programs including the annual performance reviews, annual bonus, and other incentive related programs. Create and distribute required documents to business units. Track, analyze and report on year over year merit and bonus budget. Create annual budget forecasts by country based on plan funding.
  • Point of contact on budgeted position expense approval. Partner with finance to approve position pricing for global positions.
  • Develop and maintain international salary structure. Conduct market pricing, job slotting, and manage salary administration within company pay model.
  • Maintain and run periodic as well as ad-hoc reports on compensation related data from the HRIS system. Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data. Respond to data requests; use Excel and or Access to manipulate data for analysis.
  • Conduct periodic global wage analysis to ensure market competitiveness on all compensation related programs.
  • Manage expatriate program. Develop standard plan designs for various assignment types and provide consultative support to global HR team.
  • Respond to internal requests for review of existing jobs, pricing new positions, reviewing requests for promotions, equity adjustments, ensuring internal and external equity.
  • Maintain updated job descriptions on all positions. Store electronically for access by HR and other management. Review positions with departmental management periodically for compliance with FLSA regulations.
  • Assist head of Compensation with on-going projects, maintain project timelines, create presentations, communication materials, policies, etc.
  • Assist with design, implementation, communication and administration of new incentive plans, recognition and rewards programs. Provide budget analysis, track and report on status of on-going plan activity.
  • Lead projects, make presentations to groups, and have ability to manage multiple competing projects with shifting priorities.
  • Remain up-to-date on federal and state regulations by attending various seminars and informational
Skills/Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years progressively responsible related experience
  • Proven track record with ability to produce in a results oriented, fast paced environment
  • Prior experience administering performance based management systems
  • Preferred international compensation experience
  • Experience in managing data within an HRIS systems and using reporting systems
  • Mastery in PC skills including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and the suite of Microsoft office products.
  • Excellent planning, execution and follow-up skills required; ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop sound recommendations and solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Ability to influence, educate, with persuasive skills
  • Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves

  • Has exposure to "SuccessFactors"
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
