Our client is a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications.
They are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner with a generalist background and a demonstrated record of success and career progression in a fast paced, high tech work environment. The company culture requires an assertive and flexible individual that is proactive in communications and able to develop effective relationships at all levels within the company. There is a heavy emphasis on organizational development projects. Individuals having substantial experience assessing organizational needs and developing and implementing programs to meet those needs are strongly preferred.
This is a newly created position at the client, supporting several hundred employees at multiple domestic sites. Scope of responsibility will be both strategic and tactical. An HR Business Partner will be responsible for delivering a high level of human resources services by providing appropriate guidance and assistance to address a variety of employee related issues. Will work closely with the business management team to provide HR support, anticipate employee and organizational issues and make recommendations and implement solutions to attract, motivate, develop and retain employees. Responsibilities include emphasis on creating and leading projects related to career path development, talent development, succession planning, workforce planning, management training, and performance management.
Requirements:
- The position requires solid analytical and communication skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and creatively.
- HR Business Partners are expected to have a high level of independence and maturity to manage multiple ongoing issues and complex employee related matters with minimum supervision and with excellent follow up.
- Quarterly travel to domestic sites will be required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or other related field plus a minimum of 7 years progressively more responsible HR generalist experience, preferably in a fast paced high tech work environment.
- Ability to multi-task and handle complex employee relations matters with minimum supervision and with excellent follow up.
